Advanced Orthopedics provides expert care for all types of bone and joint injuries. We are the area experts at caring for fractures of all types.
Our Center for Austin Orthopedic Trauma and Fracture Care was created as a Specialty Center of Excellence to facilitate the expert care of our injured patients. Our practice is staffed by orthopedic surgeons and physician assistants who have special expertise in this field.
Advanced Orthopedics is affiliated with Gwinnett Medical Center which is a Level 2 Trauma Center. The hospital has one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the State of Georgia. We see a high volume of injuries ranging from children’s fractures from falls, torn ligaments from sports injuries, and progressing up to severe injuries from work or motor vehicle accidents.
Our offices offer the rapid appointment availability that injured patients need. If you have already been seen at an Emergency Department or Urgent Care facility, we can typically take over your care within 24-48 hours. If your current physician requests it directly, you may even be able to see one of our Orthopedic Surgeons or Orthopedic Physician Assistants on the same day.
We offer the latest techniques for the care of all types of fractures and musculoskeletal injuries. Advanced and cutting-edge care is a necessity to help you attain the highest level of function after a serious injury. Our goal is to get you back to work and play as quickly, and as safely, as possible.
Dr. Grace is the Director of our Center for Orthopedic Trauma and Fracture Care. He is also the Director of Orthopedic Trauma at Gwinnett Medical Center. He is the only physician in the State of Texas that is a member of both the Orthopedic Trauma Association (OTA) and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM). Dr. Grace is also an AO/ASIF Faculty Member, and he teaches orthopedic trauma care techniques to other orthopedic surgeons.
Many different health care professionals make up the Orthopedic Trauma and Fracture Care Team.
If you have a fracture or injury, you can call our offices to schedule an appointment to be evaluated. If you already considering Fracture Surgery, or think that you may benefit from surgery, you can see one of our orthopedic surgeons to discuss any possible procedures in detail.
